Home » Areas We Cover
Before you spend money on a roof, it helps to know the roofer can actually get to you — and knows the sort of houses on your street. This page tells you exactly where we work, how quickly we can usually reach you, and what we know about roofs in your area.
We're based in Yate, on the northern edge of South Gloucestershire. In practice that means we cover the north and east of Bristol quickly, we're across South Gloucestershire in under half an hour, and we reach south Bristol and Bath the same day for anything urgent.
The honest version: if you're in Yate, Thornbury, Chipping Sodbury, Downend or Winterbourne, we're probably the closest experienced roofer you'll find. If you're in Bath or south Bristol, we still cover you and do plenty of work there, but for a small emergency repair you may find someone nearer. We'll tell you if that's the case rather than waste your time.
Want the full picture of what we do across the city — repairs, re-roofs, flat roofs, chimneys and emergencies — before you narrow down to your area?
See our Bristol roofing servicesThis is our home patch. Most of these are a fifteen to twenty minute drive, so it's where we can usually get to an emergency fastest and where we've done the most work over the years.
Our own back yard. Mostly 1960s–1980s estate housing with concrete tiles reaching the age where ridge and valley work starts to matter.
Older stone properties on the High Street through to modern estates. Natural slate and leadwork come up often here.
A real mix of period cottages and newer development. We've completed full re-roofs across the town.
Exposed to weather off the Severn, so storm damage and slipped tiles are common calls.
Heavy on 1930s semis with original tiles. Chimney stacks and flat roofs over extensions are the usual jobs.
Post-war housing and newer builds around the aerospace sites. Flat garage roofs come up constantly.
1980s to 2000s estate housing across BS32, now all hitting the age where ridge mortar and dry verge caps give up.
Also covered: Frampton Cotterell, Coalpit Heath, Emersons Green, Mangotsfield, Patchway, Stoke Gifford, Almondsbury, Tockington, Olveston, Old Sodbury, Westerleigh, Pucklechurch, Wick and Severn Beach.
We work right across the city, from Victorian terraces in Clifton and Cotham to post-war housing in the east and south. Different areas throw up genuinely different problems, so it's worth reading the page for yours — or start with our main Bristol roofing page for an overview.
Georgian and Victorian properties, natural slate, parapet gutters and leadwork. Specialist work, and often listed.
Tall Victorian terraces with valley gutters and shared party walls, where access is usually the hard part.
Period detached and 1930s housing. Chimney work and full re-roofs are the common jobs here.
Dense Victorian terraces in BS3. Rear extension flat roofs and shared guttering come up a lot.
Close to the estuary and properly exposed. Wind damage and lifted ridge tiles are the regular calls.
Coastal weather and a lot of commercial and industrial roofing alongside the housing.
Victorian terraces and 1930s semis across BS16. Repairs, re-roofs and guttering.
Older terraces through to modern estates, with plenty of flat-roofed extensions and garages.
Interwar and post-war housing in BS4, with a lot of roofs now reaching the age where tiles and mortar fail together.
Also covered: Redland, Bishopston, Horfield, Henleaze, Stoke Bishop, Sea Mills, Henbury, Lockleaze, Lawrence Weston, Hanham, Longwell Green, Warmley, Soundwell, Bedminster, Knowle, Totterdown, Hengrove, Hartcliffe, Withywood, Bishopsworth, Hotwells, Ashton and Leigh Woods.
We take on work beyond the city too, particularly larger jobs such as full re-roofs, flat roof replacements and chimney rebuilds where a day's work justifies the journey.
Exposed to wind and salt off the estuary, which changes what fails and what you should be fitting. BS20 and the Marina.
Sitting between Bristol and Bath, with a broad mix of period and modern housing.
Also covered: Pill, Easton-in-Gordano, Clevedon, Nailsea, Saltford, Bitton, Marshfield and the surrounding villages.

Yes, and there's no obligation. We'll come out, look at the roof properly, and tell you what it needs. Sometimes that means telling you it doesn't need what you thought it did.

Yes. Every job comes with the same insurance-backed guarantee of up to 20 years through the Confederation of Roofing Contractors, regardless of where you are.
Whichever area you're in, we cover the full range: roof repairs and new roofs, flat roofing in EPDM, chimney repairs and rebuilds, guttering, fascias and soffits, slate roofing, tiled roofing, garage roof replacement and Velux installation, leadwork and general maintenance. For anything urgent we also run a 24 hour emergency service, and we can carry out a drone roof inspection if you'd rather see the problem before committing to anything.
